We took the boys to Big Bear for the weekend, so they could have a proper 'Winter' experience. It rained (deluged!) on Sat morning, which is a rarity for our LA life, but, more importantly, it snowed (perfect, dry, in-massive-quantity snow) on Sat eve and Sun!

We did a lot of hanging out, cooked some yummy meals, mastered a couple of puzzles, and even baked cookies (3 times)
For being our super Busy-Bee, it amazes me how quickly Levi can settle into a time consuming puzzle or book

Amidst the deluge on Sat, we ventured out to the local cinema for a screening of 'The Lorax'
Another deluge-dodging event took us to the local library. Levi is super into puppet shows, so it about blew his mind when we discovered this in the library!

It was lovely to have no agenda and to see the boys light up with things like snow, bunk beds, and a massive fire place. Awe, to be a child again (and to rediscover those simple joys as an adult through their experiences).
P.S.
Here's Levi performing his very own puppet show!
