Felix is growing up... off to Preschool!

Our sweet Felix started preschool and after a few days of long goodbyes and gut wrenching tears, he loves it. The best part is the school is 1 block from our house, so I can walk him to school and pick him up most days! 

Felix loves his teachers Ms Megan and Ms Tiffany and his most favorite thing is playing with Simon the rabbit who hops around the play yard.  He's made friends with the other children and he particularly likes a little girl named Katie (who's made claims on Felix as her future husband and current BFF). 

He's coming home singing new songs, talking about their various cooking projects, and most importantly he's happy.

Labor Day In The Sequoia Forest

We took the boys for the long weekend to the Sequoia National Forest, and it was gorgeous! We stayed at a darling B&B that sat on a river. We hiked, swam and floated down the river. We will definitely be going back!
