Christmas has arrived!

The boys have strung the lights on the outside of the house, and we put up our tree last night! We are on pins and needles waiting for baby #3 and, meanwhile, are eager for Santa to arrive...

Levi turns 4!

We celebrated Levi's birthday super casually since we'd already had his party. It's hard to believe that it's been 4 years since we gave birth to our sweet Levi abroad and started on the path of parenthood. What a wild ride it's been; we both feel so blessed to have Levi in our lives.

Every morning we start the date off with morning snuggles and books in our bed. On 11/24, Levi also received his bday pressie from us!

Levi requested a birthday visit to Toppings, our super amazing, local frozen yogurt shop. So, off we went. It was the perfect way to celebrate his big birthday!

Thanksgiving V2 with the Knippels!

Our dear friends Linda, Jeff, Connor, and Hudson joined us for Thanksgiving in LA. This was our 2nd Turkey Day w/ them, only this time around we each have another boy!  There is no doubt we will look back on this holiday and laugh. Our oldest sons (both Alpha males) kept us on our toes from sun up to sun down.  By the time evening rolled around, we were all exhausted, but stuffed from delicious food and lots of laughs.

Levi was very excited to show Connor his top bunk. Connor slept on the lower bunk all 4 nights, which was a good warm up for when Felix moves into Levi's room next year!

Best of Friends..who knew they could turn anything into a competition, like who spotted Christmas lights first?

For a 1 1/2 year old, Felix didn't miss a beat.

 We quickly discovered that getting out of the house was key for everyone's sanity. We took our friends to Noah's Ark at the Skirball Center, which is one of the coolest exhibits I've ever been too!

Jeff and John took the brunt of the older boys and were constantly taking them for walks just to get them outside and in neutral territory!

 

Felix is obsessed w/ balloons as well as the bird this year!

We spent most of the day cooking and ate in 20 min due to active boys and Felix, who is super into throwing his utensils, food, and anything else he can get his mits on.

 Felix and I had a little 1:1 Mama time at the Fountain. He's really growing up so quickly!

The day they left, we took Connor to the beach. It was Levi's birthday, and he was eager to hit the sand & sea. Yes, Nov in CA = warm beach day.

38 1/2 weeks pregnant and so thankful for a wonderful week with such dear friends!!

Levi's #4 bday party...a circus!

We celebrated Levi's #4 bday by waking up this morning and decorating the homemade cake made by Granmommy and Grandaddy.

Levi opened his pressie this morning from Grandmommy and Grandaddy. It was his first pair of converse trainers in red! He LOVES them! 

We hosted the party at our local park complete with a bounce house, bagels, Hank, chocolate cake and 15 other 4 year-olds!
