"Love Is No Assignment for Cowards"

Our dear friend Reed gave us our wedding present this weekend. It was a 4-year work-in-progress, but well worth the wait. Thank you, Reed, for what is the most thoughtful, personal gift that will become even more loved as time passes.

The Director's Statement: A lyrical meditation, tracing the strands of friendship and love woven into the ritual fabric of marriage.

Cozy time!

Levi LOVES to cozy, so we have 'cozy time' throughout the day, and anyone who's willing get's to participate!

Even Reed, who's in town for the week, experienced a little 'cozy time.'

Mikee's back (again)!

Michael came for one more visit and introduced us to his lovely girlfriend, Sara. We spent the weekend doing LA things like walking the beach, hiking to the Hollywood sign, and dining at out our favorite LA hotspots.

Felix turns 7 months!

Baby Felix is 7 months today and cute as a bug! He's 23 1/2 pounds and close to sitting up, however loves to stand on his legs. He continues to snuggle with whom ever will cuddle him and loves to give big, slobbery kisses!

The Yellow Sub goes Christmasy!

We returned home from Seattle and decided to make our house 'Christmasy,' despite the 80 degree heat wave in NOV! There's no U-cut farm relatively close to us, so we settled for a lot in North Santa Monica...

It was a complete team effort

Tada

We even mustered up the energy to get all of our decorations out of storage and decorate the house in the same day! Levi was beyond excited when he saw the new train set we gave him to go around the base of the tree.

Messie made Felix stocking, so now we're ready for Santa!

A Thanksgiving Bday

We had a very special Thanksgiving this year. We celebrated it in Seattle at Messie and Papa's house, complete with all of our Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. It was a grand affair, and one that will be remembered for many years to come!

We relished in the rain, as we've been craving 4 seasons every since we moved to LA!

Felix was able to spend some time w/ GGMa, which was extra special as she's 94!

He also received lots of cuddles from 'Big PopPop,' who's 89 and going strong!

Levi is our Turkey baby, and this year his birthday fell on Thanksgiving. He was delighted to open his pressies throughout the day as they appeared as family arrived!

The theme of this year's pressies, it turned out, was 'airplanes!'

All eyes on Viggo!

On Thanksgiving Day, we took a walk w/ little Viggo who's so close to walking himself! He managed to push his wooden cart a good 1/4 mile through pebbles, hills, dirt, and rain. Levi spent a good portion of the work eyeing Viggo's cart and wishing he could use it. Finally, when Viggo wore himself out, Levi stepped in w/ a the final push home!

It was just fun to spend time w/ Melissa and Toma on Thanksgiving. They're dear friends who we're quite thankful for after all these years!
