Hanging with Mumsey and Papa

Mumsey and Papa have been here for almost 3 weeks, and it's been so much fun and helpful! They leave on June 4th, and it's going to be so empty in our house!

We took them up the PCH today and played on the beach, before eating at one of our new favorite fish restaurants and enjoying a very relaxing Sunday afternoon!

Little Levi is all boy...into rocks, sticks, trains, cars and goes full speed at all times!

Baby Felix is falling right into routine...it definitely takes us longer to get anywhere, but he's such an easy baby; we are loving having him be a part our excursions!

Baby Felix (just like Levi) has taken to Mumsey and can never resist a nap in her lap...if only we lived in the same city!

Levi's Big Boy Bed!

1 week before Felix arrived Levi decided to start climbing in and out of his crib. So at last, we introduced him to his 'Big Boy Bed,' and he LOVES it. We were not quite sure how he was going to like it, but he slept until 7am this morning and couldn't wait to take a nap in it today...let's hope the novelty doesn't wear off to soon!

Dani & Chris visit us!

Dani and Cris drove up from San Diego to meet baby Felix and catch up w/ little Levi and the rest of us! We hadn't seen them since their wedding weekend, so it was such fun catching up in person on all the details and showing off the boys!

I LOVED being able to introduce baby Felix to one of my dearest friends while he is so young, since we had Levi in London and none of my girlfriends from home had the opportunity to hold him when he was fresh out of the oven!

We hit the beach w/ the crew for some sunshine and R&R!

It's such a treat living on the same coast as Dani...we just always pick up right where we leave off!

Levi sported his new conductor hat and spent most of the time rolling in the sand, like a piggy in mud!

Felix did his usually 2 hr cat nap but finally woke up to show off his gorgeous eyes!

It was especially fun having Mumsey and Papa in town as they are very fond of Dani and finally were able to meet the one and only Chris (who we all adore)!

We can't get enough of little Felix....he's already 2 weeks old!

We're getting him use to tummy time, and he doesn't seem to mind. In fact, he's quite interested in staring at himself.


Papa is definitely Felix's favorite person to snuggle, as he can calm him down in a matter of seconds

The minute he gets the opportunity to snuggle w/ his Papa, he immediately falls in REM state.

He's getting more and more comfortable just hanging out, which is sooo nice for us!

We took Levi to Travel Town for the 1st time, which includes several HUGE, OLD retired trains. Levi was in hog heaven!

A Summer Deilight

Levi nearly 2 1/2 years old

Felix turns 1 week old!

Felix turned 1 week old today! He's the most relaxed baby and has taken to nursing like a champ. He's even on a 3-hour eating cycle and, if mama isn't quite on top of it, he gives me a 10 min. grace period! He's opening his eyes through out the day and loves, loves, loves snuggling!

This was our 1st weekend w/ baby Felix, and it was a busy one! Complete w/ visits from friends and keeping up w/ Mr. Levi!

We even took Levi & Felix to see Gustafer Yellowgold, a wonderful fantasy world for kids created by a super-talented NY-based singer/ songwriter!

We topped off the weekend w/ a BBQ at SoCal Holmes, which was relaxing and included smores!

We took Felix to Levi's playground on the beach next to our house this weekend. He was easy-peasy, and we all took turns pushing him!

I can't wait to watch Felix grow & see if he and Levi look alike. From the pics below, there are definitely some strong resemblances!

Felix's 1st night at home in Santa Monica

After 2 nights at UCLA, we headed home. We had a wonderful experience at UCLA Santa Monica, equally as good as the Portland in London, which we LOVED!

Our cousins came over to meet little Felix. Hazel and Sadie were so cute with him! They couldn't wait to hold little F!

Hazel Bean was darling with Felix and, after a quick fix, immediately started playing with Levi, which was so thoughtful!

Everyone has been so kind to Levi in helping him with the transition. He's doing well (with the help of a few pressies!)

Mumsey has been a life-saver by helping care for Felix, cooking for us, and keeping me company during feeds and frustrations!

Papa is also a natural; the boys can't get enough of him!
