Disney Stock Photo Shoot

MK and her photographer asked if they could shoot our family for Disney stock photos.  We agreed and got some pretty fun pics out it!  Keep your eyes peeled when you're on a Disney site as you just might see one of us. Weekends at the Pool!

It has been super hot on the Westside, so we've been making weekly trips to the Santa Monica College pool.  Levi's really getting into his goggles, while Felix enjoys lounging in our arms and putting his face in the water!

Our post-swimming ritual includes chocolate ice cream cones across the street at Foster Freeze (very classy).  Today, however, we only had enough cash for one cone; the place was packed, so we opted to eat in the back of the 'big car.' 

Surprisingly, Levi was happy to share w/ little Felix...

...who kept coming back for more. And more. And more....

LHG and FWG: brothers & friends

Levi and Felix are becoming quite good friends now that Felix can walk and hold his own a bit. It's so fun watching them play together, squabble and care for each other. 

Meanwhile, Hank keeps his position as best doggy ever!

We're growing!

We are getting more and more excited for our new addition who is expected to arrive on Dec 9th. Although, someone pointed out today that we should try and hold out to 12/12/12! So far, our babies have arrived on their due dates, so we shall see. Meanwhile, I'm getting bigger and bigger and wondering daily if it's a boy or a girl. I can't wait to be suprised!

Felix really has no idea about the new addition, but Levi did share w/ me the other day he "simply does not have time for another baby, and that he doesn't want to return Felix." We have some education to do!

LHG starts at the Palisades Preschool!

Levi started at his new school Palisades Preschool last week. We decided upon this school through a variety of recommendations and have no regrets. Levi was so excited to go and, by the 2nd day, he had no issues saying goodbye to Dada. He's enamored with the wood shop during outdoor time and LOVES the studio inside which is chockablock full of every kind of art material you can imagine! His teachers, Lisette and Lori, even paid him a house visit last week, so they could learn more about him in his natural habitat. Levi was over the moon about their visit and wanted them to stay longer. 

Levi's headed to Palisades Preschool in Santa Monica!

We moved Levi to Palisades preschool, as we just felt it was a better match for him (smaller class sizes, more structure, Reggio-based). Levi and I made these various collages of pictures that will be part of a book that he can share with his classmates and add to throughout the year. I couldn't believe how much he enjoyed looking at old pictures and, most importantly, how much he's grown!

Pony rides all around

We swung by Griffith Park as we hadn't been in a while and Levi was eager to ride the train. While he and Dada went for spin #3, Felix was glued to the ponies so we decided to give it a go. These ponies could be house pets their so tame, but nonetheless Felix LOVED it.

When Levi caught wind of the fact that Felix rode his 1st pony, he immediately begged to go on the 'big ponies.'  Mind you he's been terrified of riding them for the past year but I guess a little brotherly competition eased his fears!
