Suprise trip to Palm Springs

We suprised the boys recently and took them to Palm Springs. Our requirements were a hotel with an awesome pool. We found the perfect spot, and the boys were in heaven. We never left the hotel and I was reminded how special it is when you're child to get to stay in a hotel and swim ALL day. 

It was wonderful to watch the boys and their excitement all weekend!

Family Bike Rides

Levi dusted off the cobwebs on his bike, and we have been enjoying nightly family rides through town. This has become one of my favorite family rituals.  I've watched Levi get even more comfortable on his bike especially as he experiences freedom and independence. 

Mama's Day

I'm incredibly thankful for these precious souls, who remind me to live with curiousity, wonder and love every day.

Felix turns The Big 3!

We celebrated Felix 3rd birthday on May 9th.  I took Felix in for his 3rd year check up and the doctor couldn't believe how big he is. He's in the 100th % for height and 90% for weight. He's going to be a big boy. We celebrated with a chocolate chip pancake breakfast and his soon to be godfather Matt, suprised him with balloons and bubbles during breakfast. Felix was in heaven! We followed up the morning with a family party at the beach and dinner back at our house with our cousins! It was simple, which made it perfect.

John and I are shocked that our baby Felix has turned 3. Here's what we want to remember about you at this age:
1. You are really starting to talk, and have truncated the word helictopter, to copter to taco. We all now call them tacos
2. You are airplane obsessed
3. You LOVE reading your huge airplane book your grandaddy gave you
4. Your super attached to mama
5. You're the strongest of the brothers
6. You have a very gentle side and yet you can be quite rough
7. You eat just about everything and don't stop
8.  The brothers go to bed at 7, and you have discovered that by staying up later you get 1:1 time everynight w/ both parents so that's what you do
9. Often wonder into our bed around 3am
10. You can be kind of grumpy in the morning
11. You are in love with both of your brothers
12. Every night you request a BIG bear hug and a kiss on both cheeks after we tuck you in bed
13. In general you are incredibly happy, loving and very mischivious, funny little boy
14. You're really not interested in potty training
15. You love to snuggle your mama

Gus 1st Haircut

Gus got his first official haircut this month and he was not very excited about it. It wasn't anything major, but you would have thought the world was ending!

Growing Boys

I had to replace my camera due to a an accident with one of the boys, so here are the first couple of shots. I  can't get over how big Levi looks. Felix has lost his baby face and Gus...baby Gus...where did he go? I love the ages that each boy is at, but I must say... please please please boys slow down. You're growing up way to quickly!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Easter in LA means annual hunt at our friends Amy and Colin's. They hide over 500 eggs, bring the Easter bunny, bounce house, arts and crafts table...it goes on and on....but the boys love it.
