Hydroplane Boats....

The boys experienced a Seattle MUST with the Baker Family. They watched the Hydroplanes race. Levi and Felix loved it, but Gussy got a little scared.

From London -> Dubai -> DC ->

The boys and I spent a full day playing in the pool and eating bbq w/ one of our most treasured families. We met Amy and Hussain the very first weekend in London and Amy I knew instantly it was a match. They later moved to Dubai (we visited), us to LA (they visited often) and then they moved to DC. They are now on their way back to London and will have their 3rd baby over there. It was one of the biggest highlights of the summer and we can't wait for our next adventure together. The girls and our boys are developing a sweet friendship, despite living on opposite parts of the world.

Christmas Eve in LA 2013!

It was so fun to have Messie and Pop Pop in town for Christmas Eve. We took the big boys bike riding and then had a lovely dinner over at our friends the Mannings who also have 3 children. Needless to say it was a bit of a zoo, so my pictures aren't  great, but they surely capture the highlights. The food was delicious and the company was perfect.

An Afternoon with Levi and Niamh!

I took Levi and his darling, red headed girlfriend Niamh to see Alice In Wonderland, followed by lunch at the dinner. These two little people had me laughing all afternoon. What a treat they let me tag along!

4th of July Small Town Style!

4th of July in the Palisades is comparable to a small town celebration in Middle America. Complete with an incredible 10K/5K run for adults, 1K run for the children, 'Best decorated 4th of July House contest' and a parade that begins w/ skydivers and ends w/ Clydesdale horses. The boys were in hog heaven!

Our friend Matt and I ran the 5K, while the boys did the 1K!

We broke up the day with a lemonade stand

Penelope and Levi enjoying a very American 4th of July

It was HOT and we loved every minute of it

The day ended with an old fashioned ribs/ potato salad bbq in our backyard. LA Living.

Road Trip To San Diego!

We did it! We took our 1st road trip w/ all three boys and stayed with our dear friend Chris and Dani and their new baby Zachary.  The boys had the most amazing time and it really was just an old fashion overnight. The boys highlights included:
* Sleeping in the same bed as John and I (they never get to do that)
* The boys stayed up until 10pm (again never happens)
* We hit the San Diego Zoo (they love that zoo, especially the Gondola)
* Meeting Chris and Dani's new baby....they both have a love for babies like their Mama

All the boys slept on the way down....it was heavenly

Baby Gus 6 months old and Baby Zachary 4 1/2 months old

I can't wait to watch these two grow up. I have no doubt they will be dear friends like their Mama's!

Holding Baby Z for the 1st time and he is gorgeous. In fact, one of the most handsome babies I've ever seen. He has Dani's almond eye shape and Chris' amazing eyelashes.

Felix 3B's party.... (Balloons, Burgers and Beer..for the adults)

We had 3 families over for Felix's party, which was a BBQ in the backyard. The hit of the party was a piñata that our nanny gave Felix for his bday. John and I managed to host and wrangle our boys at the same time; that alone felt like a major accomplishment!
