We've moved!

We moved (again)! This will make for our 3rd move in 5 years! Wowzers... The good news is, we've shed stuff more quickly over the years than we have acquired stuff. While moving is still a TON of work, we are getting it down to a science. W/ the help of our amazing Nanny, we had our new house set up in 3 days! Now settled into the Pacific Palisades, our most favorite things about the house are:
  1. The gorgeous back garden which has ivy growing all around it and is fenced in (feels very English)
  2. LOCATION! We can still walk to a little village, 5 min from a gorgeous beach, and can still access Santa Monica, Venice in 10-15 min!
  3. Circular pattern - John and I have always loved circular patterned houses especially since the 1st house we bought is that way. I love how the children can zoom around as if they're on a race track, and it feels much more open!
  4. High Ceilings- It's so nice to be back in a house w/ vaulted ceilings!
  5. Our detached office....a moment of bliss when you need to think.

The front of the house!

The back, which includes our bedroom which overlooks the garden

We spent most of our time in the kitchen, which has an attached dining room which we LOVE. No more running back and forth; the crew has a place to sit while one of us cooks!

Papa was our 1st visitor. The boys are always so excited as he's also an early riser!

We live in the garden as it's just big enough for us to entertain, run through sprinklers and do art projects

It's been in the 90's most of September, so the boys have been living at the beach and in the garden!

Both boys are really into painting, so Messie spent quite a bit of time drawing trains and self portraits

Since we moved in, we have enjoyed a flurry of guests for BBQs, including our English friends

The kids table!

Frankie, Levi ,and Felix spent most of the evening playing hide and seek

Another highlight is we live 4 blocks from 'Toppings' the most amazing frozen yogurt shop in all of LA

Penelope and her family also popped by for a yummy Sunday night dinner!
