O Christmas Tree...O Bickenhall...

Our dear friends Andrea and David (also fellow Bickenhall residents) invited us over for a little tree decorating and holiday cheer

I was delighted since we didn't get a tree this year, and Levi was especially excited because he was able to explore a whole new territory and stay up late!

I must admit, the boys did quite well with the lights

Champagne was in order, accompanied by Chinese food from our favorite nearby restaurant

Our first and our last guest!

Lucky for us, music brought Matty and his conductor, Joe, to Austria and from there they decided to swing by London!

Our living room was converted to an editing booth for a few days.

It didn't take long for Levi to warm up to Matty (watching clips from this year's symphony concert benefiting Children's Hospital)

Hard to believe Matty use to be able to hold baby Hank...not anymore!

A night out in Soho

What could they possibly be studying so thoroughly???

Jamaica meets Levi!

Jamaica surprised us with a last minute trip to London, and we got her for a whole day! She flew in all the way from Kinshasa, Congo.

We took her to a darling pub for oysters & beer...and her first official meet and greet with LHG.

I never know when I'm going to see J next as we both seem to be globe-trotting around. However, we always seem to manage to pick up just where we left off. I still can remember meeting Jamaica when I was 15 at summer camp. How wonderful are old friendships?!

Afternoon with Dad

Doing his weekly loop in Regents Park with Dad....very sunny...very chilly.

Trattoria!

We have the good fortune of living 6 blocks from a fabulous cooking school in London...La Cucina Caldesi. After 3 hours of hard work, we were able to dine on delicious, homemade Italian food. Did you know the hearts of Sunflowers are not only edible but delicious in risotto?
