Halloween was a big hit this year! We kicked it off by a Halloween party at my dear friend Jennie's house. Grace, her daughter, invited the little boys over for a big Halloween celebration!

Jennie and I celebrated every Halloween together up until 6th grade, so it was all to familiar celebrating w/ her again!

On Halloween, we went to the big campus of Levi's school and had a potluck w/ his school mates. We then went trick or treating around Venice!

Baby Felix held his own, but by the end he was just pooped, and all he wanted to do was snuggle

Penelope's birthday!

Levi's dear friend Penelope turned 3, and we celebrated at the Santa Monica carousel, complete with face painting, chocolate cake, and lots of little 3 year olds!

Camels, Pandas, Polar Bears, and Seals!

We finally made it down to San Diego to spend a weekend w/ Chris and Dani. They were the most fantastic hosts, letting JWG, LHG, FWG, Hanky, and I move in w/ them for the weekend keeping us well fed and entertained (note they do not have children, but didn't miss a beat when it came the to boys routine).

Chris and Dani are both exceptional w/ children and dogs, so there weren't many moments when they were without one or the other!

We spent all of Saturday at the San Diego Zoo, and it was fantastic. Levi's favorite exhibit was the snakes. I could barely get him out of the reptile house... this is not a good sign for someone who is terrified of snakes!

Dani took us to see where the seals hang out; it was fascinating. Each time a wave would come in, they would each lift up their heads and tails as if they didn't want to get their hair wet!

The last day was finally the first autumn day we've had in SoCal, and it was heavenly. Grey clouds, crisp air, and windy....I LOVED it. Reminded me of Seattle and London.

Felix is a BIG BOY

I forgot I took this picture w/ my phone when Felix was at his 4 month check up and it melts my heart. Felix weighed in at 21.5 pnds and is 29 inches long...BIG BOY!

Felix turns 5 months!

Baby Felix turned 5 months (gasp). He's still our super mellow baby and such a Hunk o' Love. He's just happy playing on his mat or snuggling anyone who will hold him. Levi continues to love on him, and Felix is just settling into his routine, sleeping from 7 to 7 and never missing a meal!
He's started swim lessons and, like Levi, loves being in the water. We had our first family swim last weekend, and it was such a treat for us all to be able to do an activity together (unfortunately no pictures were taken)

Felix is entering the fun phase of putting everything in his mouth, so now we're all on guard!

Jennie and Grace came over for some cookie decorating and hanging out. Levi was quite excited to hang out in his room w/ Grace and introduce her to all of his favorite things!
