Christmas at Messie and PopPop's House

We celebrated Christmas at Messie and PopPop's house this year, and it was paricularly fun because Levi couldn't wait to see what Santa brought him. AND, it was our 1st Christmas w/ Felix!

Levi slept until 7am, but couldn't wait to check his stocking!

Felix's very 1st Christmas!

Messie and Papa spoiled all of us with very thoughtful gifts!

Hanky right in the mix as usual

Felix is truly our little monkey. He's most content snuggled in a pair of arms and being cuddled.

This is the first time I've seen Felix interested in Levi's toys, so the brother dynamic is going to get interesting!

Hanky waiting patiently for his 1 pressie

Grandaddy and Grandmommy joined us for Christmas brunch

Felix is now sitting up on his own, which is quite exciting for this relaxed baby

GGMA, who's 94, joined us for Christmas, which was an extra special treat for me, as I spent all of my Christmas mornings w/ her growing up

Felix still doesn't have any teeth, but he's working those gums

The boys aren't use to being inside so much, so we took advantage of a break in the rain to go for a scoot!

It was a relaxing Christmas full of yummy food, thoughtful notes, pressies, and lots of cozying w/ the boys

Reed's back!

Reed, one of our most favorite friends from Seattle, stayed w/ us for a week. At one point, all three of us worked together at IMDb. I got quite use to having him around; I loved having an office mate at home to go to lunch with, watch YouTube videos, and chit-chat with in between sales calls. Levi loved him for his Angy Bird app, and John, of course, relished in Reed's story-telling. John and Reed then took a road trip up to Seattle, so Hanky could join us for the holidays!

Xmas with Gina

Gina spoiled the boys with Christmas pressies! Levi is just old enough to really LOVE pressies, and little Felix is just happy to be a part of the mix!

"Love Is No Assignment for Cowards"

Our dear friend Reed gave us our wedding present this weekend. It was a 4-year work-in-progress, but well worth the wait. Thank you, Reed, for what is the most thoughtful, personal gift that will become even more loved as time passes.

The Director's Statement: A lyrical meditation, tracing the strands of friendship and love woven into the ritual fabric of marriage.

Cozy time!

Levi LOVES to cozy, so we have 'cozy time' throughout the day, and anyone who's willing get's to participate!

Even Reed, who's in town for the week, experienced a little 'cozy time.'

Mikee's back (again)!

Michael came for one more visit and introduced us to his lovely girlfriend, Sara. We spent the weekend doing LA things like walking the beach, hiking to the Hollywood sign, and dining at out our favorite LA hotspots.

Felix turns 7 months!

Baby Felix is 7 months today and cute as a bug! He's 23 1/2 pounds and close to sitting up, however loves to stand on his legs. He continues to snuggle with whom ever will cuddle him and loves to give big, slobbery kisses!
