Family dinner on Hank Hill!

We hadn't seen our Cuzzies in a while, so we had an impromptu picnic dinner on Hank Hill. Every time we see them, I'm reminded this is the best perk about living in LA.

When Hazel and Sadie left tonight, all Levi could say was "I'm so sad. I wanted them to sleep over. I'm just so sad."

Hank has easily held onto 1st place for being our best snuggler. He would sit for hours on John's lap if he let him!

Felix's milestones!

It's happened! Felix isn't our little baby more; he's on the cusp of becoming a toddler.

Felix has started walking and is becoming more and more confident!

Weighing in at 27 lbs and realizing his legs were completely cramped, we decided it was time to flip him around!

He's becoming more and more independent and loves to color! He's even holding his own w/ Levi and recently bit Levi's face (obviously we weren't pleased but it was certainly a wake up call for Levi to be nice...)

The Tour!

I've become a huge Tour De France fan over the years, and every summer Levi gets more and more hooked. The 1st thing we do each morning is turn on "The Racers!"

4th of July in Santa Monica

This is our first 4th of July in the States where we've just stayed put! It was very relaxing and felt very 4th of July-ish. We kicked off the day with the Main Street Parade (1 block from our house) and then ended the day w/ a yummy BBQ at Penelope and Annabelle's house!

Brotherly Love

Even though the volume in my house exceeds what I think is humanly possible to endure, I still take great joy watching our boys become friends. I'm convinced it's the greatest gift we will ever give them.

Levi is super into tennis, and Felix is so patient. Felix will just buzz around the court doing his thing, while Levi wears his opponent down, and we finally have to drag him off the court!

Levi LOVES 'bump trucks,' so John took him to the Santa Monica Recycling Fair where he was able to sit in a garbage truck and work the magic claw!
