A purrrrfect love affair

When I asked Levi at the end of our week stay in Seattle what his most favorite moment was, he very quickly replied, 'Playing w/ Claire outside.' Levi is in love with Messy and PopPop's cat and spends most of his time when at their house following her around, petting her, and talking to her in a high pitched voice. Sometimes she bats at him, or they simply ignore each other, but they both always come back for more; true love. I think this little boy needs his own kitty. Santa?!

For the first time, I heard Felix truly get the giggles. Big Brother Levi was trying to watch a movie, while all little Felix wanted was his Big Brother's attention! I have no doubt these brothers will be dear friends.

A Double Playdate

Levi and Felix had a play date w/ Ruby, who's 2 1/2, and Calvin who was born the exact same day as Felix. Laura and I LOVED watching the toddlers sometimes share and sometimes squabble, while the babies made goo goo eyes at each other, watching their older siblings' every move!

Levi's 3rd Birthday. "All Aboard!"

Our sweet Levi turned 3 on 24.11.11, and we had a big Choo Choo party at Travel Town in Griffith Park. 15 of Levi's friends joined us in celebrating the big #3. We played with trains, ate cupcakes, and rode a big 'Choo Choo' around the park. Levi was in heaven! I can't believe it's been 3 years!

Hunk O' Love turns 6 months!

Sweet baby Felix turned 6 months on Nov 9th. We had his big check up today, and he weighed in at an even 22 lbs and is 29 3/4 inches long! He's rolling over every which way, grabbing for anything in sight, and giggling up a storm. Meal time, playing w/ Levi, and cuddles from anyone and everyone are his favorite activities! We can't get enough of this bundle of love!

I just love watching babies try and figure out their hands and feet! Felix studies his piggies for a good portion of the day!

Felix spends a great deal of time kicking his feet. In bed, on his mat, in the car seat...any chance he can get!

He also loves to balance on his belly like a seal!

The Last Wonder of the World

My Children's Hospital Guild in Seattle put on our 14th annual concert this year, and it was my most favorite yet. Matt Messina, a long time friend and composer, writes a new symphony each year, and all money raised goes to Children's Hospital Uncompensated Care Fund. Complete with the most amazing set (12 foot trees), incredible artists (Civil Twilight, Five For Fighting, and Vicci Martinez and the sweetest child patient who stole our hearts. Last year we raised $203K, so I can't wait to hear what we did this year!

PS...Sarah and MK (2 of my dearest friends) flew in for the event and were joined by a slew of our close Seattle friends, which made the event even more special!

The Northwest Boychoir absolutely melted my heart, particularly when they closed the show by singing 'You Can't Always Get What You Want...'

John also gave me a Hall Pass to stay downtown w/ my girlfriends. We hit the after party until 2:30 and then slept in, had brunch downtown and enjoyed a relaxing Sat sans children. It was heavenly! THANK YOU JWG!

Meanwhile the boys were back in Kirkland having a lovely time w/ their grandparents and Dada!

Levi even got to ride shotgun in a HUGE truck w/ his Papa...which was definitely his highlight of the trip!

I found Levi's bear Poncho sleeping in my bed! That's what happens when you take a night off....easily replaced by a gigantic stuffed animal!
