Felix on the go!

Felix is now walking more than he is crawling; he continually looks like he's been to war! Boys will be boys!

Matty and Tammy get hitched!

Our dear friend and my partner-in-crime w/ the Symphony Guild, Matty, tied the knot on Orcas Island. It was a simple, yet very elegant, wedding packed with a variety of witty, musically-inclined, incredibly fun and interesting people! We felt honored to be a part of their special day and loved our 48-hour get away in a place so dear to us.

We spent Friday evening at Camp Orkila, watching a campfire. It was amazing how little has changed and how magical 'camp' continues to be.

Summer holiday at Messie and Papa's

We spent a few 'picture perfect' hot, sunny days at Messie and Papa's. The boys loved every minute of it, and Levi keeps asking me 'What time are we going back to Messie's house?' We even managed to scurry up to the San Juans for a weekend sans boys thanks to Mom and Dad. It was heavenly!

I wasn't sure if Felix was going to be 'sweet' or 'salty,' but after seeing him suck down John's chocolate malt milkshake, I'm definitely going to say sweet!

Family dinner on Hank Hill!

We hadn't seen our Cuzzies in a while, so we had an impromptu picnic dinner on Hank Hill. Every time we see them, I'm reminded this is the best perk about living in LA.

When Hazel and Sadie left tonight, all Levi could say was "I'm so sad. I wanted them to sleep over. I'm just so sad."

Hank has easily held onto 1st place for being our best snuggler. He would sit for hours on John's lap if he let him!

Felix's milestones!

It's happened! Felix isn't our little baby more; he's on the cusp of becoming a toddler.

Felix has started walking and is becoming more and more confident!

Weighing in at 27 lbs and realizing his legs were completely cramped, we decided it was time to flip him around!

He's becoming more and more independent and loves to color! He's even holding his own w/ Levi and recently bit Levi's face (obviously we weren't pleased but it was certainly a wake up call for Levi to be nice...)
