Annual Summer Camping Trip...Malibu

We invite our French neighbor on our annual camping trip this past Summer. We had 5 boys in tow! The company was wonderful, the food was delicious, but the campsite not so much. NW camping is much more gorgeous.  However, we did find a secluded beach on the way home that made up for it in spades.

End of Summer 2015

We celebrated Felix's best friend Katie's bday at the beach! Felix and Katie have been thick as thieves since the first day of preschool. They're like an old married couple. They appear to have an old love story and can't be separated even if you try. It's very sweet.

Some Fun with Grandmommy

The boys don't see their grandmommy that often, but when do they, they love every minute of it. The boys enjoy waking up in her house, playing in her garage and exploring the parks near her house. We found an incredible swimming hole not far from her house that was pituresque!

The boys experienced a Seattle MUST with the Baker Family. They watched the Hydroplanes race. Levi and Felix loved it, but Gussy got a little scared.

Summer Days in LA 2015

Before heading to Seattle, we spent a lot of time discovering day hikes and letting the boys experience various camps - many of which were beach!

A little message to our beloved Fran who fell sick for 4 days- she's been with us for 5 years and I can count the number of days she's been sick! 

Summer in Seattle at Messie and PopPop's House

This past Summer went spent a month in Seattle. It was just what we all needed. It's become a tradition. In fact, how we spend our time has become packed with traditions, which the boys love. Time to connect with Messie and PopPop.  

From the moment we touched down in Seattle, the boys Time to settle into a routine of relaxing, slow days, picking blackberries, swimming in the lake and eating dinners outside. The days were long in a good way, and sometimes the boys even got a little bored. 

The boys fight over who gets the window. 

The boys spend most of their time 'nudey rudey' at Messie and Pop Pop's in the Summertime. 

The boys are happiest in a pool, regardless of size!

We are glued to the Tour De France for most of July!
