Mumsey's garden: oasis

Is there anything better then your very own blueberry bush?

Didn't take long for Levi to realize that fresh blueberries are the bees knees!

The days were 85+, perfect for outside play and cat naps

Levi perfected his belly dives

Hanging w/ Papa Lyons

Levi and Papa Lyons get along famously. Both are morning people, both love to laugh and both are BUSY bees. We're especially grateful, because it means we've got extra hands on deck in the early hrs.

Couldn't be happier...life is good. Especially with a Papa Lyons

Austin Heat Wave

We headed down to Austin for the weekend, for John's step-brother's wedding. We roasted in 100+ weather, cheered a newly married couple, visited w/ our best friends, and hung out w/ family. It was lovely.

We spent lots of in-between time at the parks (especially in the am when it was only 85 degrees)

In the afternoon, we hit the fountains. Austin is so incredibly kid friendly...

We even hit the Children's Museum, which was walking distance from our hotel (exceptional planning on the bride's part!)

During the wedding, Sarah and Michael hung w/ baby Levi and spoiled him rotten with new toys, books and even showed him some new dance moves!

Levi has grown quite fond of Uncle Michael (and Sarah). According to them, he was perfect :)

We squeezed in as much visit time as possible w/ John's beautiful Grandma!

Proud step-father of the groom!

Lastly, but definitely not least, the spinster sisters w/ Grandma Anne! We LOVED Austin and totally get why people enjoy living there...it's just so hot!
